Helping orphans is undoubtedly one of the noblest deeds as recognized by Islam as well as by other religions. The aftermath of the many cataclysmic events in the 20th and the 21st centuries has made it more incumbent on us. A great number of children lost their parents in Palestine, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and in some states of Russia, India and Pakistan. What can one expect from earthquakes and wars?
Sometimes we do not realize until we see with our own eyes, but the condition of the orphaned is really painful. They have great hardships, have to struggle every day to get one time’s meals, and have to compromise their dignity. Where do they end up to? Many of them are compelled to become rag pickers and as child laborers they fall prey to abuses. Almost all of them remain illiterate. Doesn’t the desperate plight of our fellow human beings compel us to think for them? Surely it does.
Seeing the dire situation of many societies, we provide, through
Orphans Smile, a healthy and loving environment for the children
who have lost their parents and have nobody to look after their
well being and education. We establish orphanages that could
be home for such children and remove from them the sense of
abandonment. We are doing our bit to inspire hope and awaken
their spirits. By the grace of Allah the Most Compassionate,
Orphans Smile has decided to take organized steps and implement
well thought-out plans to facilitate sustainable development
of such weak sections of our community. We do not confine ourselves
to orphanages, but ensure their proper education and facilitate
their adoption by loving and caring Muslim families.
May Allah the Cherisher and Sustainer help us and make us able to proceed on the path of Allah and make our services pure and pious and put ikhlas in to us. We are helpless without His help:
“But ye will not, except as Allah wills; for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.” Al-Qur'an (Al-Insan, 076.030)
